Statement of Confidentiality

Confidentiality: Our Lady of Fatima recognizes that it holds a position of trust with our donors and that our donors have placed their trust in our ability to maintain confidentiality. All donor information, correspondence and governing instruments will only be accessible to individuals with the approval of the pastor and the storage of the information shall be kept secure.

Use of Donor Personal Information: OLF will not sell or trade its constituent list to any individual or organization for any purpose. OLF will share its constituent list with Catholic entities directly affiliated with the Diocese of Cheyenne for the sake of efficiency and coordinated Catholic-based purposes.

Anonymity: OLF requires that our donors be identified for all substantial gifts. The parish will respect a donor’s request to remain anonymous. The gift will be recorded to the donor’s individual record but will not be published in any materials or in any public fashion.

Honoring Donor Intentions: Donors to OLF can determine if their gift is to be restricted or unrestricted. OLF shall honor the donor’s intentions. If OLF cannot do so, it will decline the gift. If OLF accepts the gift, the donor shall sign an acknowledgment that states if the donor’s wishes can no longer be fulfilled for any reason, then canonical process shall be followed regarding use of the gift.
