As a Catholic Christian Community we bring forth these guidelines regarding the sacrament of infant Baptism:

• If this is the first child, parent(s) must attend a Baptismal preparation class.
• Godparents must be baptized, confirmed and practicing Catholics. One Godparent may be of a Christian denomination. If Godparents are from out of town or another Catholic church in town, a letter from their pastor is required stating they are a practicing member in good standing.
• A visitation with the priest is necessary before scheduling a date for the Baptism.
• Those not registered with Our Lady of Fatima parish must have written permission from their pastor for the Baptism to occur at Our Lady of Fatima.
